Happy Friday! Today, I made some fried rice for lunch and since this simple meal is both healthy and delicious, I wanted to share with you how to make it 🙂
Ingredients (2 people)
- 500 g rice
- 500 g beef
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 broccoli
- 4 eggs
Bring water to boil in a small pot, then put the rice into the pot. The water line should be a finger node above the rice.
Heat a medium pan and add oil. In a bowl, whisk the eggs until the mixture is uniform. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and leave for 2 minutes at low heat. Then, flip it and leave it on low heat for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cut into thin slices.
Add more oil to the pan and heat it at medium heat. Cut the beef into bite-size pieces and slice the broccoli into small, thin pieces. Add the beef to the pan and fry on medium heat. Then, add the broccoli and egg. Stir.
Remove the rice from heat, drain any excess water, and add to the frying pan. Stir in soy sauce. If desired, add seasoning or salt and pepper. Mix everything together so that the rice is golden brown.
As you can see, I like to eat mine with lots of Sriracha on top. Let me know what you put in your fried rice in the comments below!
