Life in Barcode

Hello and sorry for the lack of updates! Moving has been hectic and kept us quite busy…but now we have most of the furniture assembled and set up, so I thought I should give you a little sneak peek at the new apartment ūüėČ

We were very excited to be moving to Barcode, one of Oslo’s newest neighbourhoods. It is named because the buildings’ outline resemble a barcode! We spent most of the weekend packing for the long-anticipated move and were soooo happy when we got the keys on Monday.

On Tuesday, we arrived at our new home early to await our furniture delivery from IKEA. Eirik’s parents came a few hours later with the rest of our things and a sweet housewarming gift.

Thank goodness we have elevators!

Over the past days, we have been busy assembling the furniture and unpacking. Now, our apartment truly feels like home! The sofa is coming tomorrow and will add a nice finishing touch.

Books from Ayn Rand, of course!

I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce to you a new section on the blog, called “Life in Barcode”, which will be all about living on Barcode and my adventures around Oslo. Let me know if there is anything else you want to see!
