Synopsis
This is a concert version (filmed in October 1995) of the 1980 musical phenomenon Les Misérables, produced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the West End production in London. Based on Victor Hugo’s 1862 novel, the musical (originally in French, with lyrics by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel) features an epic score by Claude-Michel Schönberg with English lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer.
